After the Utah Department of Environmental Quality puts forth prospective water projects under its Intended Use Plan for FY23, the EPA’s Water Quality Board will review applications for funding, which are due on June 30, 2023. The funding for clean water projects will support Utah communities in upgrading essential water, wastewater, and storm water infrastructure that protects public health and bodies of water. The grant funds a portion of Phase 4 of the New SLC includes 16 contact gates as well as up to 5 permanent hardstand positions in Concourse B. The funding for the new Salt Lake City International Airport will go toward a phased Terminal and North Concourse Redevelopment Program replacing aging and capacity constrained facilities.
